Anne Ritchie Consultancy specialises in trend forecasting and event management. Anne Ritchie, trained as a textile designer, has extensive experience working with the Scottish and English textile and fashion industry over many years, giving seasonal trend forecasting seminars for Scottish Textiles and UK Fashion Textiles. Anne also works with Scottish Textiles and Highlands and Islands companies giving one-to-one advice sessions on colour, style and international market trends. The consultancy has also undertaken project management for design exhibitions for Scottish Textiles, Scottish Development International and UK Trade and Investment in Japan, Russia, USA and UK. Anne worked on the successful "From Scotland with Love" events in London and Tokyo, "Scotland at the Cutting Edge" in Moscow, Dressed To Kilt in New York and the 2010 British Lifestyle exhibition held at the British Embassy in Moscow. She also worked closely with Scottish Textiles to build strong collaborations with fashion designers and the Scottish industry. To keep up to date with the international markets and trends, Anne travels extensively and regularly visits the main international trade shows, stores, art galleries and museums...and coffee shops to watch trends and the world go by!
